Geocache Description:

On the side of a hill, a 300m steepish walk.

Yet another interesting off-the-track place in Christchurch, with a nice view out over the horse paddocks.
We would be interested if anyone knows any of the history of this place.

Accessible from either of 2 roads, but closer to the western one. ( Don't go up the private lane )
A 200ml clear plastic container. Visible from 100mm.
When hidden, contained:

  • a set of fridge magnets.
  • a miniature fridge with poetry set on a keychain.
  • a 'Freezer' Batman toy.
There is a new track that goes around the base of the cliffs from here around to the Bridle Path. Another cache Morgans Walk is on the way around.

The start of the walk up is accessible from a number 35 bus. Here is a link to the route and timetable. There are not many official stops. Coming from town, ask to get off when your GPS is pointing to 10 o'clock!
