A traditional cache located behind to the Vietnam Memorial. This would be an easy lunchtime cache and is easy on/easy off.
The Vietnam Memorial stands in memory of those killed in action during the Vietnam war. It is located off of FM 700, and proudly displays a Huey helicopter, an F4 Phantom jet, and a large tank that saw service. The plaza and chapel are centered around a black granite memorial to the Vietnam Veterans #37.
To get to this cache, go North of the Memorial grounds to go around the private Memorial area. Please go this route so as not to disturb the private gounds. After you pass the closed-off area, it's up to you!
In this cache are the following items:
log book and pencil
Pogs and Slammers with carrying container (remember these?)
Paper Mache' heart
Neck tie
Body wash sample
Have a great time and enjoy the sights at the Memorial.
