What can I say, but WOW!!! We are in town to catch a cruise ship tomorrow and had to get this cache at the recommendation of a friend who found it a couple of weeks ago.
We arrived at the hotel about 3:00 pm. Through the luggage in the room and headed for the building.
We asked about the cache and Charles came down to escort us to the cache.
We spent some time digging through the treasure chest. Debbie did most of the digging as Bob looked on with great interest. I traded a dog collar travel bug and my pathtag.
The tour around the rooftop was amazing. Bob and Debbie I believe are now geocachers! I did explain that as if this week this one is truly a one-in-a-million!!
Bamboozle thank you so much for this awesome cache and Charles thank you for taking us on the journey.

This was a great find. The view was unbelievable. Mr. Alfred is the man. I had a great time talking about and looking at the city. It was a beautiful day and the sky was clear.
Heck of a cache for my first day out.
I took an Air National Guard American Airman coin and I left a pen and pad set.

#8183. Here from Dallas for a short vacation trip to New Orleans. Several of my caching friends suggested that this cache was a "must do" so I arranged to meet my husband and niece this afternoon for lunch nearby and then we strolled over to see what awaited. We met a wonderful, friendly lady at the information desk in the lobby and then the adventure began. A nice fellow named Dennis arrived very shortly and escorted us up one elevator and then yet another all the way to the top. Oh my goodness, what an amazing experience -- I have now joined the ranks of those who say this is a "must do" cache for all who visit New Orleans! We had an absolutely wonderful view today and we were so pleased and honored to have a personal tour. Not only that but I think that is possibly the largest cache containers I've ever "found"...LOL! I signed the log and we took a few minutes to take inventory of the trackables. I took one and left the others for future cachers. I'd like to express our sincere thanks to the cache owner and the friendly folks on site who generously shared their precious time to make it possible for us to have this most excellent and wonderful adventure -- absolutely spectacular.

This was one cache that we were anxious to do. This was actually recommended by a fellow Philadelphian. We were excited, found a parking spot and went in. Ali asked us to wait until he got the ok from Security. Well, we waited and waited. Finally, he told us that Security could not let us up at this time. We are on our way to Baton Rounge and then Dallas and are not able to wait another day. Ali apogogized profusely and suggested we take this as a find. If this is ok, let us know. If not, we will delete it.

Had to do this one while in town, and in spite of the rainy afternoon went for it.

What a great hide/idea - enjoyed the view (even clouded in) you can really see the immense bodies of water that surround this city! Took some time to look through all the trackables, swapped some and discovered others. Thanks very much for a great cache - one of my new all time favorites!
