TOOK NOTHING LEFT NOTHING, I DON'T THINK SO #1
It's been quite a while since I've placed a new
cache out there on my own. So now I'm going to start a new series
called "TNLN, I don't think so". When translated, it means you
WILL trade an item. This cache is especially made for
those geocachers that LIKE to trade items. If you
don't trade an item with this cache (and I'll check since I only
live 1000 feet away), then don't bother looking for this one. The
container is a film canister and contains a log sheet and one coin.
The object of this cache is to replace the coin with another
one.
There are a few simple rules:
-
The coin you place must be a US nickel, dime, or
quarter.
-
The year of your coin must be either 1 year newer
or 1 year older that the coin that is currently in the
cache.
-
You must sign and date the log sheet (bring your
own pen).
-
Log your find on geocaching.com and post the year
of the coin you left.
Failure to do anyone of the 4 rules above will
give me the privilege of deleting your log so you won't get credit
for the find.
The date of the coin as of
October 29, 2006 is a 2001 quarter from Rhode Island (I'll keep
this as up to date as possible).
Now a little bit about the location. This park is
a very nice place to bring the kids and have a picnic. There are
climbing structures, sand, walkways, benches, plenty of shade, and
a creek that runs year round. In the spring and summer, there is
even an area where vegetables are grown behind the community
center. While there is a lot of tree cover in some areas, the
coordinates above have no tree cover at all. The cache site is
wheelchair accessible, spotting the cache is fairly easy, however
to reach the cache might be challenging for anyone 68" or less.
Good luck and Happy Geocaching.
