The above cords will take you to a spot where others have taken a
leap of faith. The trail starts just to the left of a vacant lot.
It is also a great place to contemplate the value of living, as
well as creatures large and small. I would recommend going in the
season of the whale. I have seen people here with their dogs,
however, I think I would leave the children at home.
You will need to
ask directions from the people that have come here before you. You
may encounter Robert first, but he will not have the information
you need. You will need to look to Tyler for a clue on where to
look. When you find Tyler, he will provide you with Chapter and
verse. Turn these numbers into a compass reading, ie Chapter 36
verse 2 would be362 degrees. Now subtract 18 from your answer. From
where you find Tyler, the cache is about 125 feet in the direction
provided.
This would be a good time to point out some precaushions you
should take. The walk is not long but good shoes or boots are a
must. As you get close, stop walking to read the GPS, it is not a
good idea to walk without watching where you are going. There is no
need to go near the edge. You are likely to encounter other people
in this area so be cool about your search, be aware of people that
may come from above you.
Go about an
hour before sunset, take dinner and sitdown and enjoy the
view.
I have posted my photo of the sunset, I would love to see
yours.
