Flight of Fancy (South Canterbury) Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Sallies: After much thought and soul searching we have decided to archive this historic cache. Over eleven years and over 130 finds, with only 4 DNFs, but a few niggly problems, especially lately. It is now time for someone else, who lives much closer, to make use of the site. Thanks for all those who found it and expressed positive comments. Rodney and Iris.

Geocache Description:

This cache is in a 'pleasant' area of the country. You will be able to drive right to the site. Read the inscription and take in a little more NZ history.

The cache is a white screw top jar. When hidden it contained a log book, pencils, sharpener and a few small goodies.

Look over the fence at the right of the area and investigate the bark! The container is in this area. You may have to climb the fence or wall, depending on exactly where the previous finder placed it. Make sure that it is well covered when you leave.
