Geocache Description:

This cache is best accessed from Rt 63 north of Amherst. Parking is a available in what use to be THe Ram Das Ashram main parking lot. There are new owners who operate a glass blowing studio. They are fine with people using the lower parking lot. (N42 29.406' W072 31.086') The trail head is on the right side of the parking lot. Follow the trail across active railroad tracks to a large tree near the base of the waterfall. Cache is located about 500 feet NW.

The cache is a plastic waterproof container with assorted plastic insects, reptiles, frogs and dinosaurs, etc
The theme of the cache is wildlife and nature. (Always first check for critters when reaching into
tree hollows and caves) If you looking for a longer hike take the trail up past the waterfall until it meets the Mt Toby firetower access road. This is a really nice hike although somewhat difficult at the beginning.
