The stone is in forest some 200 - 300 meters from Kuorevesi curch.
Kivi on metsässä 200 - 300 metrin päässä Kuoreveden kirkosta.
A long time ago a giant got nervous due to the bells of the Kuorevesi church. He took a stone and throw it to the church but missed it a little. You can come to the cache by boat but if you come by the road you have only one way. As one tramp told some time during the thirties: I have lacked a lot during my life but the road had never ended until I came to the Kuorevesi church.
Near church there is an old boat and behind the boat there is a path to the stone.
Near the stone there is a plate in wooden pole. Count the letters in the plate and assign them as follows:
A is the number of letters on first row, B is the number of letters on second row and C is the number of letters of the last word.
Write the coordinates above without any separators so they form two 7-digit numbers (N and E).
Create numbers N2 and E2 as follows:
N2=N-A*A-C
E2=E+A*B-C*C
Now return the separators so you get proper DD MM.mmm expression for the final coordinates.
The cache can be located year around and the place is pretty obvious.

Muinoin eräs jättiläinen hermostui Kuoreveden kirkon kellojen ääneen ja heitti kirkkoa kivellä. Sihti mene sen verran pieleen, että kirkko säästyi. Pääset paikalle veneelläkin, mutta jos tulet tietä pitkin, vaihtoehtoja on vain yksi. Eräs kulkumies totesikin kolmekymmenluvulla: Vaikka minulla on monenlaista puutetta ollut niin tietä on aina piisannut, mutta Kuoreveden kirkolla sekin loppui.
Kirkon lähistöltä löydät vanhan kirkkoveneen ja polku kivelle lähtee veneen katoksen takaa.
Kiven vieressä on kyltti puutolpassa. Laske kyltin kirjaimet. A on ensimmäisen rivin kirjainten lukumäärä, B on toisen rivin kirjainten lukumäärä ja C on viimeisen sanan kirjainten lukumäärä.
Kirjoita yllä esitetyt koordinatit ilman välimerkkejä siten, että saat kaksi 7-numeroista lukua (N ja E)
Laske uudet luvut N2 ja E2 seuraavasti:
N2=N-A*A-C
E2=E+A*B-C*C
Laita astemerkit ja pilkut takaisin lukuihin siten että saat asianmukaisen DD MM.mmm -esityksen lopullisille koordinaateille.
Kätkö on löydettävissä ympäri vuoden ja sijainti on melko ilmeinen
