- Go to stop 1 (the posted coordinates). There you'll find three classes.
In numeric order, I've called them Class A, Class B and Class C. (Use the
two digit class number - e.g., Summer of '42)
- Coordinates for stop 2: N37.52.(C*7-A*3) W122.15.(6*A + 8*B)
- Go to stop 2. That class is D.
- Coordinates for stop 3: N37.52.(2*A+7/3*D) W122.15.(7B+10D)
- Go to stop 3. That is Class E.
- Coordinates for stop 4: N37.52.(10*E + 5*D) W122.15.(10*E + 5*C)
- Go to stop 4. That is Class F.
To find the coordinates for the final bear,
you will need to know a bit about "Da Bears":
N37.52.UVW W122.15.XYZ
Where:
- U = BT + DT
- V = CL + DL
- W = AW + ET
- X = FT + DT
- Y = EW + CT
- Z = BW - CL
IF you can't find the micro while rooting around in the rocks, just email me a description of the final bear and its environs.
