Tool Time v.2 Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Nomex: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Part Urban, Part Beach
NEW COORDINATES AS OF 04/30/05

May 30th 2005 I moved the location about 80 feet south of where it had been- less traffic in this area. Cache is located near the intersection of 5th Street and Harbor Blvd. in Oxnard- best place to park is next to the trailer park near the end of 5th Street. I've driven past this location many times and wondered what was on the other side of the dunes, and today decided it would make an excellent place to stash a cache. The container and contents are no longer relevant to the name of the cache, but if you want to trade tools for what is in there now that would be cool, theme caches just don't seem to stay theme caches. The original contents when I placed it were: a small rat tail file, a set of feeler gages, 2 six inch scales, a small screwdriver, a set of 3 metric allen wrenches, tweezers, a small slip-joint set of pliers, a pen, logbook, and paperclip. I found some better hiding spots, but didn't think you'd like to dig around in poison oak getting to the cache. If you get close you shouldn't have too much trouble spotting it.
