Look who made it!

Thanks to everyone who came out!
It was great to see old friends and meet new ones!

[:)] Keep on Caching! [:)]

We had 30 people in attendance and 9 travel bugs passing through on their way to everywhere.

The cachers who came can log themselves in, but the Travel Bugs need help.
The Travel Bugs were:
Goblin's Dream: A Penny For Your Thoughts
Sun-Quan
Rover Green
Dark Knight
Slinky
Hugh
Blarney Bug
Bucky the Beaver
USA GeoCoin #5

It's about that time again. Time for another get-together. So many new names... and very few faces. Lets change that.

We've all seen the old names, and we keep seeing new ones all the time. All the people with the strange names playing the game. Who are all of these people, and why did their parents punish them by giving them such strange names in the first place?

Let's find out about the names and put some faces with them by having a get together on...

New Time: 6:00pm

What better way than to kick off a summer of caching than by having a caching event on the first day of summer? (We could call it a Summer Solstice party if you're into that Druidian sort of thing.)

Being the planner I am (not), I thought that a gathering at a local eatery might work out best for everyone, this way everyone can order whatever they're in the mood for, and as much, or little, of it as they want. (Ever try to order pizza for a large group of people?)

We can:
[:)] Swap caching stories. (and Travel Bugs!)
[:D] Give each other ideas and encouragement on how/where to place new caches. (How about everywhere?)
[}:)] Curse the caches that took four (or more) tries to find. (Like Rock It, Man! and Milburn?)
[;)] Tell lies about how accurate our GPS units are. (Less than two feet, huh?)
[^] Ideas for future event caches are encouraged too! (Is weekly too often?)

[:)] [:D] [:)] Everyone is Welcome! [:)] [:D] [:)]

Please post a note (not a find!) on the cache page so we can get some sort of head count. (Some resturants get nervous when big groups show up unannounced.)

Also: a new cache has been placed in conjunction with the event.
Old Widow by Great Scott!
The real coordinates for the Old Widow will be revealed (after a bit of work on your part) at the event prior to being posted on the Old Widow's cache page. Be sure to come to the event and get a head start on this one!

For those of you who want to pick up a few other caches while you're in town, here's a list of a few easy nearby caches you can grab...

Also, be sure to add the cache to your watch list so you can be notified if there are any changes or updates to the event.

[:)] Hope to see you there! [:)]
Keep on Caching!
