The Dells of Eau Claire park is a great place to visit, even without a geocache to hunt.
If you've never found your way to the park, it's not hard to find off Highway 52. There's no gate fee and there are plenty of trails to hike.
Hardware hid this in May 2003. The cache was moved to a slightly different location on May 29, 2005, but is in the same general vicinity. Ownership is being tranferred in May 2007 to ensure this cache will receive proper oversite. This cache has meant a lot to Hardware, who technically retired from geocaching in 2006, but still visits the Eau Claire Dells on occasion.
