Woo-hoo! Finally nabbed this one!  We're a little ashamed to have taken so long to find a cache so close to our house, but part of the reason was that we never seemed to have the opportunity to get both of us in the picture. In the end, we decided that Mae would be in charge of the capture, and Dan would find the cam. Success! We really enjoyed our first Webcam cache. TFTC!!

Found while on vacation a couple weeks ago and just now getting around to logging our finds. After some driving around campus we finally figured out how to locate this one. Took picture using the webcam from our car since we just purchased a new netbook for our vacation. This made it real easy to confirm we were at the correct spot. TFTC

Took us a little while to find the correct spot here as we were initially on the other side of the building and were looking for an obvious camera, which was nowhere to be found. After checking other logs, we found the right building in the background and phoned home, only to find that hubby/Dad was out, but on his way back. He called us when he got back in and could see us and directed us towards the camera, which was when we spotted it!!

On our way back from Farmington we swung into the area for hopefully a quick picture of us. We had Team Bullis and our son trying to get a picture. They both saw us but I would have to say it was the wits of the Team going by thre name of Team Bullis that got the pic and sent it to my e-mail. I actually had the pic on my phone prior to pulling out of the parking spot.Only one more webcam in NH to go. My options are to drive there, ride there on the cog or by foot. Not sure which way it will be as of yet, but I will get there. Thanks for keeping this cam alive, they are fun it there own way. TFTC # 2176

Eltee and I stopped to nab this cache on our way to Nashua, and our phones weren't cooperating on the picture taking so we had to phone Whippintegra to take it for us . Of course he was more impressed by the purple sky, which, granted looks pretty sci fi-ish in the picture , but in reality was just a slightly greater than dreary day on our end, at least it wasn't raining . WOOHOO I have a webcam icon. I have wanted to get one for a while but I have never taken the time. Today while out caching with friends they decided I would get one today. Three of us hadn't done this cache and one had. so Team2Hunt held all teh flashlights we had on us as we had our picture taken.
In the picture you will see Gob-ler on the left, Team Richards in the middle with the PS and Kayakerinme to the right. The picture is a bit grainy but you can see us. i hope that works.
Gob-ler and Kayakerinme will be posting separate logs referencing this picture.

Teamed up with muchado for an intense day of caching in the Epping / Lee / Madbury / Durham / Newmarket area. The hardpacked crusty morning snow was easy terrain to bushwhack and navigate but also resulted in more DNF's. The warmer afternoon softenend the hardpack and made walking more of a struggle but our find ratio increased as did the temperatures. Our focus was to hit some of the older caches in the area along with convenient and nearby stops in route. By afternoon it seemed like muchado had transitioned to finding caches we both needed to a chauffer driving me to caches he's already found. Overall find count of 24 caches and a good time with a good friend. That's me with my GPS in 1 hand and cell phone in the other. My PAF is lining me up as if he's running a portrait studio. Take 3 steps to the left, take 4 steps forward, hold your gps, smile. I'm glad my mug didn't break the camera Thanks for the adventure.

We wandered around the campus trying to find GZ durring "rush hour", there were students everywhere. Greetings cachers.This cache was flagged as a cache in need of maintenance but according to a previous log entry cache maintenance has been performed. I am removing the "Needs Maintenance" attribute from the cache page. To update the attributes and remove a needs maintenance icon look in the "navigation" window on the upper right corner of the cache page and select "Edit Attributes" from the list. (there is a small icon of a dog next to the selection.) Selecting the N/R (not required) button under Needs Maintenance will remove the attribute. -Zamboni

I've been meaning to get to this one since 2003! Mary and I were up visiting UNH for the first time in seven years so this was on my trip list. We look a bit like blobs in the picture, but the sun was behind us. A friend at work took another shot of us against the far building in the sun, but you can't really make us out at all. TFTC!!

It's about 7:25PM on a Sunday evening and it's raining. Not a soul in sight and all the parking places are available. Perfect! I needed to call the expert and team memeber to take the picture. I wasn't able to do it the way you said,(ctrl print screen) but I was able to have my girlfriend take digital pics of the computer screen. I had her take a few pics. One of a sign that I made(katrinas_josh ....www.geocaching.com) and one of me and the sign farther from the camera. I hope this will be ok because I couldn't do it the other way. My first geocache find! I was tempted by this one because the webcam points at the building I work in and I wanted to see if the wifi worked, so I could take the picture of myself. It did! Full signal strength from where I was standing, hard to see my laptop screen though.

Find #3 of 6 today while out caching after my "Princess Shift" overtime shift at Wentworth Douglass Hospital. We have little 4 hour blocks of overtime which we all lovingly refer to as "Princess Shifts"Find #715 overall! Woooo Hooooo! My second webcam cache ever! I enjoyed getting overhere at last! I have been wanting to do this one for a while, but I know very few people who I can call to take the photo. Today while caching in Dover I decided to give Rich of Glonch'sPride a call and to see if he could take the photo for me. I got lucky and he could do it! At the cache I found the right spot, I had my picture taken, I left nothing, I thanked GlonchsPride for taking my photo and I enjoyed my 2nd webcam cache! I have wanted to do this one for a long time. Too Tall John and I wound up here at the end of a long day of caching. Capiti was at home so we called her and she captured the required picture. It was late in the afternoon on a dreary cloudy day so the picture quality isn't too good. The car came out better than us, but you can't see the geocaching.com license plate holder. Well, I found this one today and made my phone call. The wife moved me around and got it just right and took the picture. I told her to save it and then went on my way happy that I had finally done my first WebCam cache.Not! When I got home the photo was no where to be found on my computer, so - - - - I guess this is a DNF on my computer at least. Next time down I will try again.

Happy birthday geocaching.
Great day to quadruple the membership in the exclusive club of people who have done 8 kinds of geo-things in a day, lets call it Wide Variety. I started it in January and today only got 7 since I had already done that Earth and Puzzle cache. I did do another puzzle on my way home at about 4:32:10 today 5/6/7 just to be as varied as possible.
Such a goofy bunch of cachers. If the photo was any better you would see me as the one who kind of looks like one of the wiggles.

headed off today with fezziwig377, accesswizard and trainlove to celebrate geocaching's 7th year of existence!! the plan was to hit one of every cache - an event, a virtual, a traditional, a webcam, a letterbox hybrid, an unknown, a multi and an earthcache.this was our stop for the webcam. boy did we have fun running around with this one! noone knew there was a time delay until weird things seemed to happen with what fabstar was seeing at home and what we were doing at the time fabstar was watching the cam! it took us a bit to put 2 and 2 together, but we eventually got it! thanks! koneko (wdp)

Had FabStar at Ground Control helping us locate the camera while she was watching the website and the area thru the web-cam. Thanks for placing this cache for us to hunt. A group of fellow cachers I have the honor of running with and socializing with are always up for an adventure. If you say something like "Have you ever been to New England to cache"? You get replies like no I haven't or I've been to a couple of states but wouldn't it be cool if we hit seven states in five days. And while we're at it, sightsee and do all the tourist things along the way instead of power caching, that's how Team STFU came to be in New England.

No problem with parking or access on this cold, wet Sunday afternoon. Thanks for placing this one we enjoyed getting to see the campus and the opportunity to stretch our legs.
So what are five cachers from Tennessee doing all over New England? Well, over dinner one night someone remarked that they had never visited New England, the rest of us pointed out that we had not either and that we all were curious about the caching there. Well that was all it took, a few days later we had made all the arrangements and it was time for Team STFU to go on a geotourism run through the cradle of liberty. The six of us travelled 884 miles by air, and then logged another 1032 land miles thorugh seven states in a rented blue minivan which we dubbed, "The Spirit of America". We selected caches that sounded interesting, or ones that had been recommended by friends, or ones that were targets of opportunity that popped up along the way. All in all we were very impressed by the caches we visited, the great food and the hospitality we were shown everywhere we went. It was a great trip and now that we have had our first "taste of New England", we are all looking forward to visiting again.

We kind of went into this blind as we had never seen what the camera sees. When we called a friend he told us what he saw and we walked in front of it. A 30 cu. yd. roll-off dumpster a pretty backdrop does not make. Even though it was evening, I believe most of the darkness comes from the camera being behind a tinted window. TNLNSL TFTH

I DNF'd this again, but for those of you who have had the same fustration as I have with webcams, just remember: There will always be caches that are either beyond our current abilities, resources, or we just plain don't want to do. For example: Owl's Head=18 odd mile hike, Reservoir Run= need a boat, Guiena Road GroMARK=code breaking skills, "37"=who knows...
I don't have a boat, but when I get one, I have 4 or 5 caches to get. When I can figure out this camera cache, or get the proper PC or program, or whatever I need, I will claim this one.
The good part about DNFing this camera cache, was getting the offers from fellow cachers to be the person on the other end of the phone. Thanks for the offers! So if you can't get it to work, I suggest that you make an attempt, post a note that you tried, and failed  , and one of the more tech savy may offer to take care of the hard part.

We were in the area today in order to find the nearby Baud Rate Hex and Paul Bunyan meets Pythagoras puzzle caches, and just couldn't resist stopping here for our first webcam cache! At first I was unable to find anyone on this Saturday to "take the picture" so I went and found a regular cache in the mean time.
Took a little while for me to find the right spot, but with the help of the campus map at the Thompson Hall Visitor Center and my accomplice (Cindy & Emma H.) I was able to get the right parking lot.
Hard to tell, but that's me wearing the orange shirt and standing near my trademark yellow car. (Could I be more visible?)TFTC,

Finally got this one done. Special thanks to Tim of thePetersPack who managed the smart end of this cache while I walked up to the dumb end. I graduated from this school long before webcams were invented. While here I took every computer course offered ( I think it was 1) and can still remember trudging to Kingsbury hall to see if my puched cards made it through the IBM 360. My laptop today probably has 1000 times the power of that room sized machine. Anyway I digress, thanks for the cache.

What a fun cache. Would like to see more of these. Had brother and his wife in AZ. on cell phone to capture image . Batterys in phone almost dead by the time we wandered into camera view. On Sunday, March 7th at high noon, ThePetersPack will be at the UNH Webcam Cache (Webcam Cache). Mrs. PetersPack will be at our computer capturing our image (see the sample posted to this note). Now ThePetesPack love to meet other cachers and invite anyone interested to join us. Mrs. PetersPack will e-mail your image, she only asks that you bring a small sign with you so she doesn’t mix up the e-mails. I will be bringing some Travel Bugs for those who would like to move them on. Capturing this image has become a bit tricky. E-mail me and I'll be glad to explain how.

I've been wanting to do this, my first webcam, for some time now. The weather finally warmed up into the 30's so I figured it would be a good day for it. I took along Uroda, Ritchcot, and Lithrai so that all of us could snag this one. Nixon, Ritchcot's puppy came along but you can't really make him out in the picture. We always enjoy the ride through Durham and Newmarket and seeing all of the old houses. Thanks for the webcam-cache.

This was very tricky to find at night. I didn't realize that the camera was reflecting off the glass and I was really viewing the inside of a building. But my crew came through and found the spot. The first picture didn't come out because it was too dark. So they positioned themselves in front of their car. You can see their silhouettes in front of the car's headlights.

Hmmm... how to do a webcam cache if you don't have a cell phone? A quick search of the 'Net turns up a program called Webcam Watcher that does exactly what I need! The free version can monitor up to 20 webcams and will save pictures every X minutes or if it sees motion in the picture. We left the program run for the day, and quickly sorted through 3000+ pics when we returned. Sure enough, there were about 100 pics of us driving up, posing, and driving away! This makes cache 7 of 8 for the day. I haven't been to UNH since I graduated in 1991, and it was interesting to see all the changes on campus.

Seeing that the webcam was fixed, I returned after my penultimate UNH class to log a find (with a little help from my dad). There was a professor working in the office with the cam. At one point he came to the window; I waved and started to say hello. He then closed the window without a word and left the office. Oh well. Too many theorems to prove, I guess! Walked right over from my class this afternoon to be the first to log this cache. Found the camera with no problem. However, it appears the webcam is failing to refresh itself. It is still showing the same picture it showed last night when I first viewed the page. I advise any future finders to make sure the camera is refreshing before making the trek to Durham. I hope the camera isn't permanently out of commission! I'll be back!
