The cache includes basic survival items if you're ever in trouble up there: waterproof matches, firestarting sticks, poncho, reflective emergency blanket, etc... Take something if you need it, add first aid stuff to it if you can. Also contains a log, 2 pens, and 2 pencils.
Drive to mile marker 28 on highway 150 East of Kamas. Approximately N40°40.893' W110°54.844'. Head towards the summit located at N40°39.769' W110°54.663'. From the summit plug in the coords for the cache and find the best view up there.
There is no trail from the parking area at mile marker 28 to the summit. There are 2 cairns that I've seen at N40°40.441' W110°54.590' and N40°40.525' W110°54.594'. Once you get to the first cairn you should see the peak (the peak isn't really visible from any roads due to the dense forest) You'll be enshrouded with trees as you make your way up the first hill (the steepest part) after that you'll be out in the open for the rest of the hike.
