The Musquash is a favorite haunt of hikers, mountain bikers and the
occasional bouldering enthusiast. For more information on the
Musquash (including a trail map) see (visit link)
One parking area can be found at N42 52.422 W71 24.380 (Hickory
Hill Rd). From there follow the Green (Landing Trail) then Orange
(Betty Mack Trail) blazes until you are near the cache site. There
are two trails that run very close to the caches so little
bushwacking should be needed. The trail to the cache is about .75
mi from the listed parking area according to our GPS trip log.
Note: The cache is near the Porcupine Rock area. There are a few
steep drops in the area, and the rock can be slippery when wet.
Please take care if you have kids or pets along.
There is swamp in the area - remember to bring bug spray - the
little blood suckers can be fierce.
The difficulty of this hide changes during the year. It is often
hidden under fallen leaves which can make it very challenging.
