The Los Gatos Pageant Grounds were constructed in order to present pageants beginning almost a century ago.
Now it sits basically abandoned, but if you look closely you can see the remains of a waterfall, fountain, and manmade creekbed. If you want, you can bring a picnic lunch to eat on the lawn or at a picnic table.
The way to get to the cache can be a bit treacherous, so this one is not recommended for toddlers. However, I'd say children 5 and up could probably make it. Adults should be careful too.
The cache is a small Tupperware, suitable for trading small items. The original cache contents are as follows:
Sandy Squirrel sticker
Spongebob sticker
911 sticker
picture frame magnet
Honeychile Geocaching button
Beckerbuns & Boys Geocaching button
eyeball bouncy ball
reading star pin
reading star keychain
build-a-dino
toy Tyrannosaurus
mini magnifying glass
logbook, pencil, and Geocaching note
Take some time to check out the view. You may see other paths that we did not have a chance to follow. What lies at the end?
