Geocache Description:

A quick micro on a neat walkway. The cache container has been replaced. It is now a magnetic film canister.

We walk along this path now and then and have always enjoyed it. You can actually start from the Beach Boardwalk and walk all the way to the Santa Cruz Harbor. The part of the trail that parallels the train trestle is very cool. The cache site is close to the Harbor and has a great view of some sand volleyball courts. The cache is a megnetic film canister. Be careful retrieving and replacing the cache. It is sign only, bring your own pen. Note: There is no need to leave the walkway to retrieve the cache. Please do not walk out on the cliffs here or go on the other side of the railing.. 9/18/04: The cache has been relocated to a slightly different location, so don't count on help from previous finders.
