How Geocaching Works
This cache is located near the top of Shepody Mountain. Anyone in poor physical shape should not attempt this hike. There is 300m altitude change in less than 2K distance.One hint, the shortest route is not the easiest. The cache overlooks a veiw of Shepody Bay, Mary's Point, Grindstone Island, and Nova Scotia.
The summit of the mountain is located at
45 47.942N 064 38.402W. Here you will find a Geodetic Survey of Canada marker and a log book maintained by Albert County Trail Riders. Looking to the north Moncton can be seen far in the distance.
Park near N45 47.918 W064 36.935. This is an old road that goes along the base of the mountain and up the back side.
