9-tien kunnostuksen yhteydessä Oriveden ja Jämsän välillä reititystä muutettiin. Opastus muistomerkille on vanhan tien varresta. Jos saavut pohjoisesta (Jämsän suunnasta), poikkea vanhalle tielle (etelään) kutakuinkin kohdassa N61"42,591 E024" 37,333 olevasta risteyksestä. Jos taas tulet etelästä (Orivedeltä päin), sopiva ristey on kohdassa N61"42,458 E024" 34,822. Koordinaatit on mitattu n satasen nopeudessa, joten niissä lienee sen verran heittoa, ettei niitä parane laittaa automaatitohjauksen reittipisteeksi, mutta em kohdista on varmastikin näköyhteys ao risteyksiin.
During re-construction the route of highway 9 between Orivesi and Jämsä was changed. There is a sign to the memorial from the old road. If you are approaching from the North (from Jämsä), leave the new road and turn to the South in the crossing at N61"42,591 E024" 37,333. If you come from South (from Orivesi) turn to the South at N61"42,458 E024" 34,822. These locations were measured at a speed about 100km/h so they are not good for auto pilot but give a proper indication of the locations.
