A regular sized ammo can located just off one of the main trails in the Texas Falls Recreation Area
This is the second cache placed by Deweydoubled. This was inspired while placing the first cache (At The Feet Of Old Timers). Just after placing the first cache I ran into a bunch of young adults who were working for the Youth Conservation Corp (YCC) in the park. While talking to them I realized that it was exactly 20 years ago this summer that I worked for YCC. This cache is placed in the recreation area where we spent a good part of our six weeks doing trail reconstruction, stream surveys, planting trees and even building one of the bridges. It is often young adults such as the YCC who do much of the work on the trails where we hide our geocaches so it only seems right to dedicate one to them.
This is a regular sized ammo can hidden just off the trail. Parking can be easily found at 43° 56.368, 072° 54.309. This is also a good spot to get your GPS hooked up as I tried it in several other areas and it was not an easy task. There are two ways, the crow way and the much easier way so think about your route before you take off. You will need to cross a stream in order to get to this one but it should not be too much challenge unless there has been a lot of rain.
