Two part multi cache. Beautiful view of some wetlands.
I found this spot while on a bike ride on the Illinois Prairie Path. At N 41º 47.393 W088º 16.452 you will find a bridge. To find the coordinates to the cache do the following:

1. To find the North coordinate find the phone number of the bridge manufacturer and substitute the letters for the phone number.

ABC-DEF-GHIJ
N41º IJ.DFE

2. To find the West coordinate find the bridge’s vehicle load limit in pounds and plug it into this formula.

               XXXXX (load limit in lbs.)
               + 6550
W088º XX.XXX

The cache container is a 4 inch round camouflaged jar from Spyders Seed Cache (GCG4WR). The cache contains lots of small tools and hardware. Nearby access points to the Prairie Path are at Farnsworth Av., Felton Rd. and at O’Donnell Park. Enjoy the view.

Update - 8/23/03 It appears that the seed from Spyders cache has grown eight legs and walked away. The container has been replaced with a new one, still a regular size cache but not enough room for trade items, only a logbook and pencil.

My 2078th Find I was stuck around Aurora on-call, so what better way to pass time than to hook-up with MikeyB and cache the time away. Our luck was not that great around the river, but we had a good time anyhow!! Thanks for the fun multi..we almost didn't figure it out We really enjoyed ourselves here...I hike in the woods, a trek through the marsh and a walk down a trail...perfect. Thanks for bringing us here. TNLN SL TFTC

Out by myself today to get a little exercise, I usually just go to the cache look first then if I can't find anything I start reading. Well the location seemed logical enough but nothing there. Time to start reading. Oh this is a multi, maybe I should have checked that out before I left my car a mile or so back on Molitor Rd.

The best thing about that old TV show McGyver. Oh I know what your thinking "That was a really corny show", well maybe, but it did leave a lasting impression on you. No matter what the tools you need to get the job done, they are always around you, you just have to stop and think. Having forgotten some of that grade school math, I had to figure out how to make the best use of the electronic gadgets I had with me.

The problem solved and the final coordinates in hand, I eyeballed the expected GZ,

I headed off for the find.

"Hey wait a minute! That's not GZ!!! Overthere? It can't be!"

Well what a great hide. Thanks for the fun. TFTH
