Located in Townsend State Forest, just off Old Turnpike Road. Easy short walk into the woods.
This is my first cache, as well as the first one for Townsend,so it is super-simple. Parking is along the side of the road in a small dirt lot, very close to the cache. There a are two large ATV/dirt bike trails which originate here, take the one on the right. The cache is only a few hundred yards in.
Keep an eye open for deer, when placing the cache I almost
walked into one. We were about 50 feet apart when he spotted me and tore off into the deeper woods.
Cache contains the letter, a log book and a toy car (Nissan
Fairlady GT).
