Geocache Description:

One more cache on the east side of this beautiful mountain. If you go to the top and find the one past the summit, you'll also get to see the megaliths.

It looks like this mountain is attracting a few more cachers, bit by bit.
I am in hopes of introducing the east side of the mountain for entry purposes. Clicking on the link above (or copy and paste it if needed) will show a topo map of the parking area in the northeast corner and the necessary accessing of the mountain to the left of the stream. The right side entry (also a trail) will take you on a different trail. Follow the blazes that are black and white.

This cache promises to be full of fun stuff. I included a travel bug I acquired long ago from a forgotten cache. It’s the GPS Nut made by Chuck. It was not a travel bug at the time but it is now. Thanks Chuck!!

The best parking for this cache is at 41 24.440 and 74 04.892

Before you cross the tracks and proceed up the mountain, there is another cache to be found at 41 24.038 and 74 05.536. The cache number is GC2B06

After crossing the tracks be sure to enter the mountain to the south of the stream. This entry is at 41 23.950 and 74 05.577

The Dark Hollow Cache is approx 1.2 miles from the tracks..

Speaking of tracks, use extreme caution when crossing the tracks. There is plenty of room on both sides so take the extra precaution and walk on the side of them.
