How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

These are NOT the REAL coordinates. DO not go to these coordinates to find the cache. The real coordinates, a North and a West, are hidden inside two other caches as listed below.

The initial placement of the two 35mm film containers each in different caches are as follows. Each film container has listed on it a West coordinate or North coordinate and must be located by reviewing the logs on this cache webpage to find the last cache that the coordinates were located. Once you find one of the two film containers with the North or West coordinate, please move it to another cache and create a link to the cache, for someone else to find. If you cannot figure out how to create a link, then just give the waypoint and name of the cache. Log the coordinate find as a NOTE on this webpage, until both coordinates are found, then a FIND can be logged once the cache is found and the log book signed.

DO NOT POST THE COORDINATES ON A NOTE OR A FIND LOG, this will defeat the purpose of the "FLOATER" cache.

PLEASE DO NOT PLACE the 35mm film containers in caches outside of the local provo/orem area as this cache is somewhere in this local area.

INITIAL PLACEMENT OF WEST COORDINATE IS IN THE Y Trail?, Why Not? Cache, Waypoint, GC999B

INITIAL PLACEMENT OF NORTH COORDINATE IS IN THE Ancient Beach Cache, Waypoint, GCD51

The location of the 35mm film containers will move, but each move will be logged and linked by the person who finds and places the coordinates in a new cache. You need to review the most recent logs to determine where you can find the 35mm film containers with the North or West coordinates. Once both coordinates have been located by a cacher, the physical cache can be searched for.

This cache is based on "Lost in Lehi" cache and "Clueless in Kent" cache. This type of cache has been done at least 2 times before.

Special thanks go BuffyAndFamily for giving me this idea. This is based on their Clueless in Kent cache. Idea was used with their permission.
