The cache is hidden in the Soca (Isonzo) valley near Bovec. You
can find it on the Mount Ravelnik at a fortified position of the
Austro-Hungarian defence. This cache is dedicated to memories of
all the soldiers and to my grandfather who fought in the Isonzo
Front.

This area has a rich history from the WWI. Here you can see
fortified positions, some caverns and trenches. During the First
World War the Bovec Basin was cut through by the Austro-Hungarian
line of defence. The ninety kilometres section of the front running
along the Soca (Isonzo) region from Mt. Rombon to the Adriatic was
called Isonzo Front. The warfare lasted for twenty-nine months in
this area and twelve offensives took place during this time.
The cache can be found in a cavern, under some stones. You need
for the search a torch, the cave is quite big and has more
corridors. The rampart is in the woods, but on the top of the hill
near the cavern you can find clear view to the sky.

holder, some reflection stickers among others.
