I went to check on The No-Trash Cash-Stash Cache today and it was gone! For a while now, I've been waiting for the logsheet to fill up so I could archive the cache and replace it with a more difficult to find version. Fate, I suppose...
Last June I decided (a bit late in life!) to start collecting smashed pennies, or elongated coins as they are more officially known -- thus the new Cash-Smash Cache! Please don't take a smashed coin if you don't have one to trade. Also, please be stealthy; nearby is a frequent route for school-going teens.
The cache is an Altoids container, but will only hold a couple smashed pennies. At no point is it necessary to go over or through any fence in the area! Please be careful, be quiet, and do not disturb the neighbors! Oh, and bring your own writing instrument...
The members of GeoROCKS! are avid supporters of the Cache In, Trash Out program. If you see any trash while hiding or seeking a cache, whether you are in the woods or in a residential neighborhood, please take it with you! Thanks for supporting this terrific ecological program!
