How Geocaching Works
I drove a 1984 Nissan 2WD truck to cache. Via Glade Park, crossing the Delores is not required. If you come in via Glade Park and Colorado National Monument tell rangers at entrance that you are going to Glade Park and they will let you in without fee. The Delores ford is quit easy in Summer. Via Glade Park or Dewey Bridge the roads are good. You can easily park off the road a couple of hundred yards from cache. Good hunting and enjoy this remote site.
The cache's original contents are: in helping name the cache, six travel BUGS and things that are SOFT to WEAR or feel good on the skin; $2.00 bill, gold dollar, two pair toe gloves, two bandanas, six handkerchiefs, one Trojan "Horse". A log book, pen and pencil are also there. From the cache you can see the Monk and Nuns, Fisher Tower, Highway UT128, Colorado River, Top of the World, Dolores River Drainage, I-70 Interstate, La Sal Mountains, Bookcliffs and general great scenery.
