BIG OLD DEAD CACHE Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time or has had no owner response for at least 30 days, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Original text by theMagician
"On the way to this cache you'll pass a nice lake. My plan was to hide a cache that could be gotten by boat or walking but I just couldn't make it work that way.

So your hoofing it. You'll pass the lake and you go thru the dead and rotting forest which is now a swamp. I had a major problem with numbers. The listed numbers will get you very close.

This cache is located in Lakehurst New Jersey.
You'll remember That as the place where the Hindenberg met its untimely end. Whats a Hindenberg???
The Hindenberg was the world's largest Zeppelin ever! This ship was 135 feet in diameter, 35 feet larger than any dirigible before. The Hindenberg was also longer as well. This larger girth and impressive length gave a total of 7 million cubic feet of gas volume. When filled with hydrogen gas, it produced an astounding 242.2 tons of gross lift (lift after subtracting structural weight), 130.1 tons more than ever before. It was to be the first of a fleet just like it, to be used by Nazi Germany. This ship, emblazoned with the swastika, engaged in various propaganda attempts by the expanding party, it spread pamphlets, and showed off Nazi power . In the end though, this graceful giant went down in a fiery blaze, killing 37 people."
