Geocache Description:

A transparent sealtite box filled with garage sale trinkets is easily found after a flat walk, run, bike, or ski along established paths.

Nothing Mad about this find unless you are traveling slowly to the cache during summer (deer flies). No straying either, as trails lead up to the cache. Just a simpleton rearranging letters.

Access to this cache is by boat or three entry points by hike/bike/ski along relatively flat terrain:
Park your car off Penacook Road in Hopkinton at N43° 14.137 W71° 41.331 and follow the old railroad grade for a long distance, or off Broad Cove Road in Concord for a quicker approach, near the Town Line at N43° 13.931 W71° 38.866, or at N43.15.095 W71.38.823 for the easiest grab.
Mast Yard State Forest: According to Bouton’s History of Concord, in the early 1800’s this area was famous for supplying trees, two to three feet in diameter, that were used as masts for “His Majesty’s Royal Ships” and later as masts for various other vessels built on the seacoast. The best masts were from the northwesterly side of Horse Hill. The trees were “drawn” to the Contoocook River to an area now called the “ Mast Yard”, then floated down to the Merrimack River. Larger logs were drawn by 52 teams of oxen (104 animals) along Borough Road to the sandbanks below Sewalls Falls and there “thrown” into the Merrimack River and floated to the coast. Today this area is training ground for cross country runners and skiers, and a recreational area for snowmobilers, snowshoers and bicyclists. During the summer months the cache location is a great spot for a swim/skinnydip.

You can bag a survey disc near the Penacook Rd parking area.
