How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

35mm film canister located strategically in a park. Contains foreign coins for trading.

This cache gets its name from its small, but "valuable", contents - a small assortment of foreign coins located in a 35mm film canister. Any coins that are taken from the cache must be replaced with other coins from foreign countries. (Yes, Canada is a foreign country. However, Canadian coins will not count in this case since there are many of them already in circulation in this country!)

This cache is to serve as a currency exchange in theory only. This means if you take three coins, you should leave at least three coins, regardless of their respective values. In other words, there should always be at least the same number of coins after you leave as there were when you found the cache. Remember, this is a 35mm film canister, which means any coins you choose to leave must fit! Try to be creative and place coins from countries not yet seen in the cache. Please log your trades on the website.

Since this is a microcache, you'll need to bring your own pen. Please be sure to re-hide it appropriately when you're done. The cache is out of sight, but in a public location so please use discretion when retrieving/replacing the cache. Good luck and happy trading!
