Geocache Description:

Cache is in Little River State Park, near Waterbury, Vermont.   The cache can be reached from a decent, well-marked trail system without bushwhacking. You'll be climbing a hill on the way up the trail and going downhill all the way on the return. Round trip from parking to cache and back is slightly less than four miles, but you'll be traveling through some very interesting areas along the trail.  Pick up a trail map and guide at the state park.

Little River State Park is open to the public year-round but is a fee area from mid-May to mid-October.  During the remainder of the year you may have farther to walk since the gate to the park may be closed. You can read about Little River State Park at the park web site: http://www.vtstateparks.com/htm/littleriver.cfm

The Green Mountain Ghost Town multi-cache is also in Little River State Park, but the final is at least a quarter mile away from this cache.

The cache should be relatively easy to find in the general vicinity of the coordinates; while the reception won't be great in the immediate vicinity (which made getting exact coordinates a bit of an adventure), it should be relatively obvious where to search once you're there.

The cache is in a waterproof tackle box, dark green. There is no specific theme for the cache contents; it's large enough for toys or travel bugs or what-have-you.

The original owners of this cache were "Otter and Lemur". In January of 2005, Tharagleb agreed to adopt this cache.
