Since you are here probably on holidays we didn’t want to
make it too difficult. First search a house made of stone between
very huge rocks. This is called: la maison au toit de pierre. It
was part of a large system for defending the coast and was built in
the 17th century on order of Louis XIV.
There you go to the coordinates given above and look for a
number carved in stone. This is ABCD. Then you can find the cache
using the following instruction:
North: 48° 39.B(C:2)(A+C)
West: 4° 22.DAB
It is only a short way! About 280 m!
If you like you can start by visiting CHAPELLE POL, continue to
POINTE DE BEG POL (a lighthouse) and walk from there at the coast
to Ménez-Ham. There are two beautiful ways: one directly at the
beach and the other above along the dunes.
Please be careful not to be watched and hide the cache carefully
again.
Have fun!
Note on cache maintenance: Since our youngest son
is learning French as his first foreign language we are visiting
France as often as possible (but only in holidays). We have a
friend in Brittany (Plouescat, about 10km away), Madame Quitiver.
She knows where our cache is hidden and would look for it, if
necessary.
