Geocache Description:

This is a Virtual/Multi/Traditional Cache located in the southwestern part of the Salt Lake Valley in and around the growing town of Herriman. The coordinates of this cache are NOT the final cache container coordinates but the center of the town of Herriman.

What you will have to do to find the final cache is complete the crossword puzzle using the UTM (This is a game right?) coordinates given on the “Games People Play Crossword Puzzle” below. If you don’t like using the UTM coordinate system you can go to Jeeep.com to get the lat/lon coords. After some extensive research though, I have learned that all GPS recievers support the UTM coordinate system; try it out, you'll like it!
The theme of this cache is of course games, mostly crosswords, cards and such. Please trade accordingly but also feel free to leave all of your bugs, nuts and signature items here.
The original contents of this cache are:
  • 3 Crossword books, assorted
  • 1 Deck of cards
  • 1 Package of dice
  • Log Book
  • Pencil
  • Pen

LET US PLAY!

  1. Print out the “Games People Play Crossword Puzzle”. Make sure you print it out in ‘Landscape’ format.
  2. Using the UTM coordinates, locate the objects and fill in the crossword puzzle. If you need assistance use the ‘Decryption Key’ to decrypt the hints.
  3. Using the circled letters on the crossword puzzle, decrypt the letters by the use of the ‘Final Cache Numerical Key’ and fill in the blanks numbers to gain the coords of the final cache.
*Please note that the letter being used in 1-down will be the first number in the ‘Final Cache Coordinates’. The letter used in 2-down will be the second number in the ‘Final Cache Coordinates’ etc., etc..
This final cache and all of the objects you have to find are on public land. The cache is hidden in a two-quart plastic water picture with a tight-fitting lid.
*Each object coordinate was achieved using 7-9 ‘locked’ satellites.

After you have found this cache, start cache # KD7MXI, its near by!
