This cache has been archived.

Woof!: No need to continue this one. I'd rather make room for new caches.

Geocache Description:

Film canister micro on the Sawyer Camp Trail.

Another cache on the Sawyer Camp Trail. You don't have to cross any barbed wire to get to it, but you will see plenty of it. In fact, the entire trail is lined with barbed wire to keep you out of the 23,000 acres of wild and pristine lands that make up the Crystal Springs watershed. It's a beautiful national treasure that you can see, but can't touch.

Located near the San Andreas dam, this cache gets you as close to the waters edge as possible without crossing any fences. Enjoy the views and keep your eyes open for deer. As if the barbed wire wasn't enough, the trail is also lined with a poison oak forcefield. You don't need to touch any poison oak or cross any fences to grab the cache, but be warned that it is there.

While you're on the trail, don't forget to do Jepson Laurel. You can do them both by starting at either end of the trail. However, this one is only about a mile's ride/walk from the Hillcrest entrance.
