In Kürze wird in unmittelbarer Nähe der Cache VEYBACHTAL MULTI CHALLENGE veröffentlicht. Daher wird der bisherige Multicache VEYBACHTAL (Cachelegung 06.09.2003) archiviert und zum Tradi umfunktioniert:

Dieser Cache führt euch unmittelbar zu einer Umgebung, in der vor rund 10.000 Jahren nachweislich Menschen gelebt haben.
1971 wurden von Archäologen Überreste von Werkzeugen aus der Altsteinzeit gefunden, sowie Knochen vom Mammut, Wollnashorn, Ren und Riesenhirsch.
Vom 1. bis 3. Jahrhundert wurde dieses Gebiet von Römern als Steinbruch benutzt. Abbauspuren sind heute noch an der Süd- und Ostseite zu erkennen. 200 Meter östlich der Felsen sind Überreste der römischen Wasserleitung nach Köln zu sehen.
Am Wochenende ist hier ein beliebter Treffpunkt für Freeclimber.

Der Cacheort ist so ausgewählt, dass sich niemand in Lebensgefahr begeben muss !! Ihr braucht allerdings festes Schuhwerk, trockenes Wetter und ........Tageslicht !!
Ausdrücklicher Hinweis: Dieses Areal ist für Kleinkinder nicht geeignet !!!!

Nachdem der Cache abhanden gekommen ist, habe ich mich dazu entschieden, den ursprünglichen Traditional Cache in einen Multi- Cache umzuwandeln.
Um an die Cache- Koordinate zu gelangen, müssen nun erst einmal 2 Stationen gefunden werden. An jeder Station ist eine 35mm- Filmdose mit Hinweisen versteckt, die euch zum neuen Ziel bringen werden.
BITTE: DEN CACHE WIEDER SORGFÄLTIG TARNEN !!!

This cache leads you immediate to a location, where before about 10.000 years people have provable lived.
Archaeologists have been found remainly tools out of the old stone age in 1971, as well as bones of Mammut, Woolrhinoceros, Ren and Giantharts.
Romans have been used this area for a quarry in the 1. to the 3. century. Today you can see everlasting workingtraces at the south- and eastside. 200 meter in the east of the stones you can see a rest of the roman water- pipeline to Cologne.
At the weekend here is a favourite meeting point for freeclimber.
Please hide the stash appropriate careful !

The cache- place is well chosen, no one must venture into live- danger !! You need nevertheless solid footwear, dry weather and ........daylight !!

After the Cache get lost, I´ve decided to change the original Traditional Cache into a Multi- Cache.
To obtain the Cache- coors, now it´s necessary to find 2 stations before. At every station is hidden a 35mm- filmcan with hints, which shows you the way to the new destination.
PLEASE: CAMOUFLAGE THE CACHE CAREFUL AGAIN!!!
