Geocache Description:

Multi-stage (2) with first clue hidden at a White Mountains landmark.

This is a 2-stage.
First stage can be reached following NFS (National Forest Service) and other trails. The beavers that were very busy in 2008 are now gone (at least for now) and the trail is no longer flooded. Park at the parking area listed as a waypoint. Be careful at the first large brook crossing; use the large fallen tree or the now-abandoned and safe beaver dam, both were safe in 2012. The clues to the second stage are hidden in a small spice jar at about eye level. Please rehide well as this area is rich in Muggles. There is also one of the old film canisters we used to use in another crevice.
The second stage will require following some NFS and other trails (NOT necessarily connected anymore due to logging) and some bushwhacking. If you get the trails right, the cache is just over 0.1 miles off the last (and now abandoned) trail, at an old White Mountains landmark no longer found in guides. If you look at it from the Southwest, it looks like a (small) Indian profile on the edge of a rock, complete with feathers.
