Bring your chairs, snowshoes, a couple pieces of wood for the fire, and all your geocaching stories and questions. Oh yeah, don't forget your GPSr and extra batteries. Be sure to dress for the weather... cold and snowy. Last year we had several inches of snowfall the day of the event.
Actually, the coordinates above take you to the parking lot for the Muncie Lakes Pathway located in the Pere Marquette State Forest, the same location as last years event. There will be several new caches placed within snow shoeing distance in time for event day, and several more already in place within a short driving distance. There is a primitive outhouse at the parking lot, but NO running water or heat!
The lunch menu will include my world famous chili, slow simmered in a Dutch oven over a camp fire, fresh home made bread, hot dogs, chips, cookies, and hot chocolate. All food will be provided this year but to cover the cost a $5.00 donation per adult will be requested. Children eat for free. The $5.00 donation will also include the purchase of two raffle tickets for the afternoon drawing. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase.

Please post a note here to RSVP; also send me an email (ray@rjrudy.org) with the number of people attending, whether you will be there for lunch, and if you will want chili, hotdogs, or both so I can we sure to have enough food. I've put together a document that summarizes the caches in the area of the event and a map of their location. It kind of puts everything together in one printout.
