Off Route 109 in Wells along the Fenderson Wilderness Trail
This is a "holiday cache" and it is meant to help to celebrate any and all holidays. Though there are many items now that are not really holiday related, we'd love to learn about different holidays that other families celebrate! Be sure to wear orange during the fall - there may be deer hunters in the area. Also, be sure to check yourselves for ticks afterwards during warmer weather! :( In the summertime, bug repellant is a MUST! In the winter, cachers have been known to park on El Vel Vel Circle (Off Rt 109 just past the Fenderson Trail sign when headed toward Sanford) and go in the trail on that side. The small area available for parking by the trailhead near the cemetary can't be accessed when there are snowbanks. There is a standard log book and pencil, as well as a camera. Please take your picture and log it in the book and have fun!
