Geocache Description:

Location of cache is North Barrule Ridge

The cache is located along the North Barrule ridge. This is a great spot to visit in TT week. Get your picnic out and watch the bikes from possibly one of the best spots on the Island.

If you continue to walk along the ridge you may find parts of crashed aircraft on the east side of the ridge. Over the years many aircraft have crashed here in bad weather. A monument has been erected below North Barrule summit in memory of an american bomber that crashed here many years ago. The book "Rough landing or fatal flight" by Steve Poole is a very interesting read.

This will be a tricky cache to get to. Make sure you have good boots as it will require some climbing and rock hopping.

Cache contains several goodies including an Athlon Thunderbird 1200 CPU, a Rolex watch (a copy), two cell phone batteries Nokia 8210 and Siemens C45 both charged.

No hints, but I will place some pictures showing the cache.

Have Fun.
