Pirunluolan uumenista johtaa käytäviä kauaksi ympäristöön mm. Vesilahteen Laukon kartanon kellariin ja järven toiselle puolelle Karkun kirkon alle. Maanalaisia kulkuyhteyksiä on moneen otteeseen tutkittu erilaisin menetelmin. Kerrankin muuan mies laittoi ruskean koiransa luolan suuaukosta sisään - kolmen päivän kuluttua koira tuli ulos Laukon kellarista - aivan harmaana.
Kauan sitten ihmiset uskoivat pirun olevan hyvin viisas ja kävivät yhtenään luolan suulla kyselemässä neuvoja. Kyselijän piti kuitenkin varoa kiusaamasta vihtahousua liiaksi tai saattoi saada rajuilman saattajaksi kotimatkalleen

Polku Pirunvuorelle ja luolalle lähtee Ellivuoren hotellin matkailuvaunu P-paikan kulmasta, koordinaateista N 61º 24.247' E 023º 02.987'. Matkaa Pirunvuorelle on noin 1.5 km. Matkan varrella on myös taidemaalari Emil Danielssonin (1882-1967) vuonna 1906 rakennuttama kivilinna. Asumukseen pääsee tutustumaan veloituksetta kesäisin keskiviikkoiltana ja la-su kello 10 - 14.

In the bowels of cave Pirunluola there is many tunnels which lead faraway to surroundings, for example to manor of Laukko in Vesilahti and pass the lake under the church of Karkku. This underground tunnels have been examined many times. One time certain man left his dog to cave Pirunluola and three days later the dog came out from the cellar of Laukko manor.
Long time ago people believed that the devil was very vice. They visited continiously at the mouth of cave to ask some help from the devil. The asker had to be careful not to bother the devil too much, if he didn't want to go back home in a thunder storm.
When the devil left the mountain he left a big rock at the mouth of the cave. By simply blowing the devil could roll the rock over too curious people.

The path to Pirunvuori and the cave starts from the corner of caravan parking place near the hotel of Ellivuori from the coordinates N 61º 24.247' E 023º 02.987'.
