Prime Reviewer: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

An interesting hike in Woodway, Texas. This multicache requires that the cacher "project" a waypoint and locate two additional microcaches before reaching the final cache.

The coordinates given above (N 31° 29.276 W 097° 14.304) are to the suggested parking area. Your quest will begin on private property (permission of the owner has been obtained). Proceed on foot to the nearest light pole in the parking area. From the light pole, you will need to project a waypoint to locate your first redirector. Make sure you (and your GPSr) are set to true north (as opposed to magnetic north) and use a bearing of 287°. If you are using a compass (or a GPSr using magnetic north), and don't want to mess with setting the declination, use 282°. The distance to project is 188 feet. On my Garmin, which requires distances in miles (not feet) I entered distance of .03 miles (158.4 feet) and knew I would need to walk on that bearing an additional 30 feet after I reached the waypoint. NOTE: This is not 3/10 of a mile, but 3/100s of a mile.

Near your projected waypoint you should find a 35mm film canister containing a set of coordinates for the next leg.

You'll have a short hike to the next redirector (also contained in a 35mm film canister). Should have a nice view as you walk. The coordinates contained in this second redirector should lead you to the cache. Be careful getting to the cache.

This cache was originally stocked with: Texas Geocaching pins, carabiner keychains, tape measure keychain, Florida road map, emergency rain ponchos, lightsticks, mini lantern keychain, log and pen. The cache should be "roomy" enough for a travel bug too.
