Geocache Description:

Lees Valley, Canterbury.

There are two ways to enter picturesque Lees Valley and reach the cache. The southern entrance, via the Ashley River Gorge Road (near Oxford), is suitable for cars, though drivers and passengers will need to have a head for heights! The northern access, via North Loburn and the Okuku Pass Road, is suitable only for 4X4 (not car type) vehicles due to the one large and the many small fords, some with steep entry/exit, on the road. If you have a 4X4 it is recommended that you enter by one road and exit the other. You will have a very pleasant half day's outing. There is a nice picnic spot near the cache and river.

Cache: A 500ml camo painted container.
