Geocache Description:

This 3 part multi-cache is located in the Headwaters Conservation Area in Westborough. Parking is a small area at the end of Andrews Street at N42 15.495 W071 38.574

The area you will be hiking was created as the 2nd conservation area of Westborough in March of 2003. It is a very popular bird watching location and a great place to walk the dog and have a nice stroll. This is a very popular stop for the migrating Warblers due to the pond and abundance of food. It's almost like a truck stop on the big migration highway.

When traveling between part 1 and 2, there is no need to walk through the school property. Check the distance and the map, there are trails that go around the school, and that would be your prefered route. There are many side trails that lead to the school, but there is no reason to use them.

The cache is a large green ammo box. You will need to bushwhack a little to find the cache, but no more that 100 feet.

The Westborough Charm Bracelet Trail passes through this area. Check out the Charm Bracelet website for more information. (visit link)
When complete the Charm Bracelet Trail System will be around 30 miles long and will connect various areas of open space in town (the "Charms"). The Headwaters Conservation Area (HCA) is one of the charms.

Maps of the area are available on the Westborough Community Land Trust website (visit link)

This cache is one in a series of caches along the Charm Bracelet. Be sure to visit those areas as well.

Happy Caching,
Enjoy the walk!
