Geocache Description:

Waypoint listed is the first of three. i.e. 2 waypoints, then the cache itself.
The track is a very easy walk through a stream reserve.
Hazards to watch out for include the stream itself - careful with young children. Also the winged hazards - bring some insect repellant in case they are hungry.

You can attack this from a number of locations. There are 2 carparks located close to the first waypoint...

If you have a bit of time and want a slightly longer walk, you could park near Prideaux Park and follow the stream (upstream).

You must find the two waypoints to find the cache. I got the idea for them from the Mauao cahce - if you have been there you have a head start. If you get stuck, try the hints. Cache coordinates taken about 10m from cache as GPS accuracy wasn't great under the trees.

Watch out for geomuggles and their furry friends - it is a popular walking spot.

Original cache contained: Cache note (with pencil), shoeshine towelette, Hotel sewing kit, Roll of insulation tape, Babies dummy (unused), shepheards whistle, and a party popper. Also included was "Another Pirate Bowhunter" TB.
