Geocache Description:

Cache is located off the mid state trail in Oakham state forest.

Take a hike to Sampson's Pebble, one of the featured places on the mid state trail. Park and pick up the trail on browning pond rd. in Spencer.The boy scouts own the area around browning pond where they have their treasure valley camp. There are trails through the area that are open to hikers. Cache is a round 4 by 12 round metal container containing a log and the usual cache trinkets. It’s a little way off the trail to avoid detection so make sure to visit the pebble. 3/29/04the origional spot the cache was placed has been trashed. thanks to whoever found it and tied it to a tree. it has been moved to a new spot and the co-ord's and hint have been updated.
