Off to See the Lizard Traditional Cache
offtoseethelizard: This cache has not been maintained for many years. It was setup in 2003, 17 years is enough.
I will remove anything that is left at the cache location in the spring when the snow is gone.

Located in the Cowdry Town Forest in Lunenburg, Massachusetts.
Park in the small parking lot off of Mass Ave (Rte 2A) that is labeled Henry E. Cowdry, Nature Center. Follow the trail to the right over a few bridges and around to the duck pond. It is about 3/4 mile and for the beginning you will be walking away from the cache, but if you follow the trail it will lead you in the right direction. There was a small fenced in area (a duck blind) which you could stand behind and look at the ducks, the cache is in this area. Somebody knocked down the duck blind. You are looking for a medium sized ammo case with an official geocache sticker in it. Inside there are several lizards. There is also a log in book. Down the path there is a new bench to sit and look at the birds. Cache and info updated May 23, 2010.
