jonboy: I was out on an AMC hike today and used the opportunity to remove this cache, part of my Harriman clean up. I couldn't persuade the leader to swing over by Dunderberg, so I will have to get those later.

Geocache Description:

A tough hike to an outstanding vista of the Bear Mt. Bridge and the Hudson River in Harriman State Park.

To be a made man(geocaching he-man that is), youse got to break ya bones. I know of at least two people who broke their ankles coming down from this point. (I helped carry one of them out), so this seems like a good spot to prove you have what it takes. Park at the hikers parking on 9D, opposite Iona Island and take the Cornell Mine trail(blue) up. I promise you one of the best views in the park. This is a very popular spot, so use discretion on your hunt and please rehide it carefully.
