Turn off SH2 at Swamp Road, Approx midway between Greytown and Carterton. It is 15 km in, the last 6.5km is on a windy shingle road. Parts of this road are one way but there are plenty of places to pass cars coming the other way. You need to drive slowly and carefully, watching out for the oncoming traffic.
Park in the small parking area as soon as you enter the Gorge Park and walk across the road to S41 00 466 E175 23.493
The cache is a 500ml, clear snaplock like container with a yellow lid with Geocache written on the lid.
Go into the bush and take the ill-formed track for about 20 metres, until you come into a clearing. Look in the shrubbery at the base of the first full-sized tree on your left.
