Congratulations to the following for reaching their milestone at
this cache. EMC #1000 Agouracharger #400 Pain and Panic #200
Faveral #400 InsideVC #300 aerospacecase #300 Robb Dogg #1600
Parking and entry is the same as the Conejo cachers cache. This is
a dedication cache for our very own EMC. She is approaching a very
large caching milestone, Number 1000! This is also for anyone else
who would like to make this their milestone cache, whichever number
your on. I ask her what she wanted and this is what she told me,
something with good camo, a hike, but not too much, and a view. So
that is what this is. In the cache you will find a bag with 50
milestones for the taking. Take one with you and keep it in your
cache bag to remember your milestone. Do not attempt a direct
approach, your access point is in between towers one and two. From
here you can continue on to find the Conejo cachers cache, the
chiefs right eyebrow, french onion soup and northern approach. Take
the picture with you just in case. I really don't want to come back
up here in a couple of weeks and see every rock overturned. Good
luck and congratulations on your milestone!

October 22, 2009 by fastflyer (676 found) We encountered a new problem when we tried to retrieve this cache. A small snake was on top of it. We think it was a rattler, but we couldn't see the tail, and it never rattled, so we're not completely sure. Anyway, after coming all this way, we certainly weren't going to be deterred. We gently tapped the snake with a stick, and it moved on (but not very far; no problem, we're happy to share the area; just play nice!) TNLNSL. TFTC!

April 28, 2009 by Let's Fly (1904 found) I started my hike today at the Dos Vientos end of the Edison Road, and this was the last cache before I made my way down to Old Conejo Road, where I planed to climb through the hole in the fence. I found the cache quickly, and continued on down the hill. Imagine my surprise when I got down there and found that the hole had been repaired. I had my dog with me, so even if I had climbed over the fence he would still be stuck. I managed to squeeze both of us through a gap in the gate, but tore my shirt in the process. I'm curious why the sign says it is a "Private Road". The other end of the road/trail in Dos Vientos is clearly marked as COSCA land, and I saw no "Private Property" signs along the road. Kinda annoying. Anyway, thanks for the cache, find #1499 for me. Almost a milestone.

May 26, 2008 by cindy&randy (244 found) Coords were dead-on! Only needed to turn over one rock to find it. A bit of moisture condensation inside but no bag of milestones. Later on we found a whole bag of stones in the Dakiba cache. Somebody didn't quite get the concept?
