Start out from the shoppette, and start walking up the Habu Rd. Turn right up the steep paved path that leads up to the lookout, be careful this gets slippery when wet. At the picnic area, take the trail at your right, and head for the north lookout.

This cache is in a 12 x 17 inch Tupperware container. Items initially left in cache: Cyalume light stick, log book and pen, Longaberger business magnet, AA-batteries, cache instructions, gallon size zip-loc bag, extra log book. Make sure all items are zipped up in the bag prior to closing and hiding this cache. There are several areas to stop and take breaks, as this trail is good exercise. Be extra careful near the lookout point and the trail edges (keep an eye out for small curious children) and some have a good drop-off to the shoreline.

I believe this one should be archived since it is on a military installation. Others may disagree with this, but this does make the cache inaccessible to some cachers.

Gaurding the cache

 June 27 by h20drifter (630 found)
Out on the north side of the island this weekend, and had a fun time locating this cache without the aid of a GPS. Visiting from states, we can't get ours to find a satallite, so we tried this treasure since it seemed to have accurate description of where it was. Nice description. No TB in the cache, and now there is. From a grade school class in Washington, move it along and provide some adventures. Yep, a bit damp, signing log as best we could. Thanks for the hide.
